Understanding and mapping the business architecture

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]We’ve been continuing our work with an existing client this week in Crewe focusing on a new platform project. The programme of work is an exciting opportunity for our team to be part of significant programme of change within the card payments space.

This week we have shifted our focus from detailing specific requirements within a single work stream to looking at the entire end-to-end process and how the different country configurations would be setup.

Mapping out the entire business life-cycle is something our team have performed at previous clients such as boohoo.com and betfred.com so we understand the value this can bring across the entire project life-cycle.

We have now mapped out the core business activities/processes from each of the respective teams/departments which provides the organisation with a single view on ‘what the business does’. As well as identifying the business activities we are now starting map these back to applications and services which will provide the traceability of which systems are used to fulfil the activities.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
